LLPD i20z is a solution designed to provide optimal protection against indirect lightning strikes. With the ability to address approximately 80% of lightning-related issues, this device ensures safer and more reliable power grid operations. Key points to note are that only one unit is required per pole, with installation carried out according to phase alternation. While i20z effectively protects most systems, the use of conventional MOA is still recommended for sensitive equipment such as transformers installed on poles (PMT). This device is designed to operate with equipment rated for voltages up to 24 kV. The reliability and quality of this device have been tested through a series of tests at CESI, Milano, following IEC testing standards, ensuring its consistent performance and effectiveness in providing maximum protection.
